Quality Responsibility
Afriplex’s Quality Assurance Department takes responsibility for the daily control of process quality. By evaluating new materials and performing strictly controlled benchmark tests, the department ensures that our clients receive products of the highest standards, which meet their precise specifications. Product quality lives in the heart and soul of every employee in production as in the rest of the company. Everybody is aligned to our quality targets and our improvement plans will be executed meticulously. There is strict adherence to GMP and HACCP standards, endorsed by the SABS. In response to growing interest in healthy living, Afriplex also obtained organic certification through ECOCERT SA F – 32600.
Health and Safety Responsibility
Afriplex maintains an occupational health and safety management system through managing hazards, damage to property and damage to the workplace environment. The company is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all the stakeholders involved with the manufacturing of their products. We run a safe production facility with minimal risk of hazardous events through the provision of safety equipment, training and a safe infrastructure within a culture of continual improvement
Environmental Responsibility
With its dependence on Africa’s soil for the supply of raw materials, Afriplex has a vested interest in the preservation of the environment. The company acts responsibly towards the surroundings in which it operates by maintaining a strict environmental management system.
